On Friday 8th, Saturdays 9th, 16th and 23th and Sundays 17th of August, between 12 noon and 5pm, Causey Farm will open its gates to families for a marvellous Summer Adventure .

Sheep Dog Demonstration (14:00)

This is a busy working farm – you will meet sheep, ponies, pigs, cattle, donkeys, alpacas, llamas, goats, hens, geese, rabbits, turkeys! You can take part in Wellie Throwing or get creative on our blackboards.

Swan Pedal Boats

€5 per boat for up to 4 people

The trail lasts approx 2 hours but there is no rush at all, you are welcome to take your time and stay for the afternoon if you want

We do not offer a family rate – all tickets for adults and children are €12.50 each and under 2 year olds go free of charge.

Yes, you are very welcome to bring along any food you want. We have a picnic area available.

Yes our coffe shop will be open with the following to choose from:

  • Pizza
  • Hot sausage rolls
  • Selection of scones served with jam & cream and other baked goods
  • Hot and cold beverages
  • Selection of ice-cream

Yes, we have baby changing facilities on site.

Yes, you can brings your dog, but they must remain on a lead while on the farm.

Dress for the weather!

The adventure will still go ahead regardless of the weather. We recommend that if the weather conditions are wet, everyone wears the appropriate rain gear and footwear ie. wellies / boots. There is nothing like jumping in puddles on a farm trail! We will only cancel the event if there is red weather warning, in which case we will contact all ticketholders and transfer or refund their tickets.

We can transfer your tickets to another day, right up to the day before.

Alternatively, We can offer a full refund (less any booking fees) up to 1 week in advance and 50% up to 24 hrs in advance. There will be no refunds within 24 hours of the event.
